Rosa's hometown is Toronto, but has spent most of her life in Ottawa since moving in 2007. As an undergraduate, she attended Carleton University where she graduated from the Honours Chemistry program with a minor in Mathematics in February 2022. In may of that year, she began as a Master's student with the Mosey group at Queen's University and is anticipating her convocation in November 2024. In August 2024, she began as a research assistant with the Woo Lab, but has officially started as a PhD student as of September 2024. Her hobbies include caring for her numerous plants, playing video games, making digital art, and strength training.
