Oct. 2019 Peter’s Ph.D. thesis work published in Nature.

Sept. 2019 – Jun, Jake and Adam Join the Lab.

September 2019 – Jun Luo and Adam Mirmiran join the lab as a M.Sc. student and Jake Burner joins the lab as a co-op student.  He will also be doing his 4th year thesis project in the lab beginning in January.

April 2019 – Congratulations to Summer – Undergraduate Thesis Award

April 2019 – Congratulations to Summer who was won an Honourable Mention Prize for her undergraduate thesis poster presentation titled “High throughput screening of crown ethers for Isotope separations”.

March 2019 – Congratulations to Evans – Killam Fellowship

Congratulations to Evans on being awarded a prestiguous Killam  Postdoctoral Fellowship which he is taking up at Dalhousie University to develop catalysts for water splitting.

January 2019 – Congratulations to Mykhaylo on his new job

January 30th 2019.  Congratulations to Dr. Krykunov who has accepted a position at the Canada Bank Note Company as a machine learning developer.  He will start there  in the middle of March.

January 2019 – Ludwig Defends his MSc thesis!

January 29th 2019. Ludwig successfully defended his M.Sc. thesis titled ” New Machine Learning Models for
Predicting the Performance of MOFs in Post-Combustion Carbon Capture.”  He will start a Ph.D. program in Austria in February.

January 2019 – Congratulations to Sean on his new job at Health Canada

January 2019 – Congratulations to Sean Collins who will start working at Health Canada on January 14th to develop data driven toxicity models.  Now all he has to do is submit his Ph.D. thesis!

November 2018. Nagesh and Gokul visit the lab from the University of Alberta.

November 2018. Nagesh Pai and Gokul Subraveti from the process engineering group of Prof. Arvind Rajendran at the University of Alberta spend a week in the Woo lab to learn about molecular simulation methods.
